Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association - Team Sponsorship Opportunities
The Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association is a non- profit organization that helps provide positive hockey experiences to children and youth from across the Sunshine Coast. We believe that positive development begins when we are young, and that hockey has a role to play in fostering healthy and happy youth and in turn awesome young people and adults!
Our Association has excellent commitment through parents and volunteers but must rely on the generous business community to sustain our programs. In recent years SCMHA players have gone on to play in leagues in many different parts of the country and this would have not been possible without generous business owners like yourselves.
As a business owner in our community, we would like to extend an invitation for you to sponsor a team in our association. Your contribution will go towards ensuring that the Association can continue to offer positive hockey experiences to youth on the Sunshine Coast at a reasonable cost.

- Website advertisement on SCMHA home page and a link to your website

- Sponsor acknowledgement on a banner hung at the arena
- Recognition on sponsor banner at all major SCMHA functions & fundraisers, Appreciation / awards night and the AGM

The Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that helps provide positive hockey experiences to children and youth across the Sunshine Coast. As a business owner in our community, we invite you to one of our main fundraising events, our tournaments. Your contribution will ensure that the Association can continue offering positive hockey experiences to youth on the Sunshine Coast at a reasonable cost.
Our dedicated volunteers organize eight tournaments over three weekends - local tournaments support the fundraising efforts for the Sunshine Coast Blues and are great for our local economy, bringing in 37 teams and over 500 families on four different weekends to spend the weekend on the Sunshine Coast in the off-season. Please join us to be a part of our continued success!
Tournament sponsor – includes one tournament for $300
In return, you will receive:
- Your name and logo on all our printed tournament materials
- Facebook and Instagram shoutouts to your business thanking you for your sponsorship during the tournament
- Thank you at our year-end awards and recognition night
Raffle Sponsor – Includes one tournament for $250
Sponsor our main tournament raffle prize; each tournament will have one main prize to be raffled off: Apple earbuds, iPod, stick, etc. Your donation will go towards purchasing that item.
